Missouri weather
I am extremely lucky with my life, I started farming for myself at 12 years old, renting ground, buying equipment and raising my own crops, then I started buying cattle, I have always enjoyed being outdoors and while some weather isn't the most fun at the time, it has always created memories. I have hauled hay at 115 degrees F. Or 45 C. And I have spent all day out in -70 degree F. Wind chill -56 C not alot of fun at the time but great memories. This morning I had 8 degrees F. -15 C and out checking everything, the sun was shining but I saw a rainbow, maybe with the temperature it was a snowbow ha ha.
Reading a blog this morning reminded me of a ex gf who would sit naked in front of the fireplace every morning. Dang what a nice way to start the day. That reminds me I need to go pick up a fireplace I bought for my new house. Have a great day everyone

Yes it has been a great life, I can't imagine doing anything else.

 Poor you Big, and still having it soo cold! Agree, that must def be a "snowbow"! You and me both, enjoying the outdoors, (so amazing that you've worked the farm for so long!) It can be a very rewarding life - has it's probs, but then there are probs in any kinda life?! As for being "naked in the early morn in front of the fire place" - Yep, sounds the best!

I read one a guy said there is no bad weather, just bad clothing for that weather. Ha ha, I can normally dress for the weather, just how comfortable and ease of movement is the question 😁 I knew at a early age that life inside wasn't what I needed. We had negative 9 degrees yesterday or about neg 23 C. A neighbor called and had a small calf out on the ice of a pond, it took us a little bit to rope him and get him to safety, but it sure makes a person feel like they have made a difference .

 It's good to hear when people are happy with their life! I often hear complaints, and gripes... It's good to know that there are some people who are happy with what they have.

I have been lucky and hard headed, ha ha up until everything was paid off it was not near as much fun. Take a years worth of work and handing it to the banker wasn't fun. But I just had to keep in mind I enjoyed what I was doing, and the pay off was coming.
