I had to cut my desert trip short by 3 weeks..... not sure I want to continue that in the heat of summer

I am so sorry my friend that you had to put off your vacation. And like you I am sick of this quarantine, and now over a thousands deaths as of today there were over one hundred in less than two hours earlier today. So sad, I miss going and helping others and not being able to be at the Senior Club where we get to do so much for them. I can't wait until this is all over with. Please stay safe my friend..and take care of you and yours..  Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Unfortunately this has flipped everyone's world upside down. March is when my buddy and I go check out spring training games and couldn't make it to one game. Some hearing got rescheduled this month and another one in April just rescheduled for June so I don't know how my summer will be. I really miss the family get-togethers on the weekends. But health beats everything and I rather be alive than in ICU. We will overcome this and we can go back to doing what we love again

I am sorry to hear that your trip was cancelled. I was suppose to go to Charleston SC for a golf outing and be on vacation all week also. I don't mind not being able to go because I would worry about this crap instead of having fun. I am glad that you are going to reschedule your trip. He is a very lucky man!! Please do not lose your beautiful smile!! Tmptrzz,, you are a wonderful woman also for all that you do to help others. I wish that I was friends with both of you on here but I enjoy reading both of your blogs. I hope you two are safe. I know I do not know either of you but I care

Yep, I've had to cancel and postpone a couple of trips, perhaps more depending on how it lasts. Haven't seen my family for 3 weeks now which is unheard of. But as you say, it could be a lot worse. I'm kinda itching, well, worse than that, to do something useful. I've done the neighbourly thing already, but can't help but think I could be doing more. Any suggestions? And

About 10 days ago I cancelled all the reservations for a mid-April trip to southern Cali. Just yesterday I cancelled my vacation days too - saving them for....well I'm not sure what. Miss K.... That's too bad about your trip. Just goes to show that life does through us a curve now and then. I had nothing really planned but am on a committee planning for a 50th HS Reunion. Now I'm wondering how the Pandemic will affect it. Not scheduled until June but who knows. I've been busy getting the house fixed up. Hoping to put in on the market soon. Don't know where I'm going but will eventually end up somewhere. Take care and hope your daughter is feeling better!

I'm really sorry about your vacation plans.  So many things planned in the family have been put on hold or are up in the air just now....I know that the normality we once knew will never return....we will find a new normal somehow and I just pray that all those I know and care about make it through to see that day.  ~~Anais Nin~~

Good morning MissKissin. If only this virus was around, I might be quicker in getting medical treatments preformed. I already had one biopsy appointment cancelled, waiting for the chaotic of Covid-19 to level off to reschedule. I'm still hoping that I can get the Cardiologist Cat Scan done on May 19. However, it don't look like that will happen on the appointed day. My cardiologist figures I have 2 maybe 3 blockages. Please feel free to read my blog at Losnewf Thoughts
