Hi, I'm Chris, and I would like to meet someone that is open minded, honest, drug and drama free. Also, someone that is as spontaneous and outgoing as I am. I don't go out to bars, and I'm self-employed making it nearly impossible to meet anyone that I would consider spending time with. You've probably heard the "I'm not like anyone you ever met" song and dance thousands of times, but in my case it is accurate. I'm very secure with myself, and who I am, I don't mind being alone, it sucks sometimes but look at what's out there. I was married for a little over two years to a woman that was 13 years younger than me, unfortunately she started doing hardcore drugs, and made me life a living hell but I loved her unconditionally and promised her I wouldn't leave her. I lost her in July of 2018 to a drug overdose, and as much as I have dealt with something that crushed me, I try not to mention it because it was horrible, and is something for me to deal with. And after dealing with some of the darkest hours of my life, I am unbelievably ready to move on, and meet someone who is fun and like me, enjoys life. I'm a combat veteran serving four years in The U.S Army where I went through Infantry and Airborne School. I joined when I was 17, back in 1987, and after 16 weeks of boot camp I was sent to South Korea with The 2nd Infantry Division where I was stationed at the most forward deployed unit in the military at the time, on the most heavily armed and most dangerous border in the world, The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in South Korea. We were so close to North Korea, we not only could see one of their villages with their giant flag waving, we could hear them. They played propaganda over loudspeakers the size of a two story house 24 hours a day. After 13 months, I was given orders to report to The 101st Airborne Division where I was detached with 5th group Special Forces. I came back home to Baltimore and a month later my unit was sitting in Saudi Arabia kicking Iraq out of Kuwait. I honestly thought I would be called back, bit wasn't so I spent my G.I Bill and went to college where I studied Botany and Horticulture. I still have my Department of Agriculture number, but I am no longer have my Horticulture Certification. I was a Branch Manager for a Mortgage Company in Bethesda for almost 11 years, and regardless of the housing market collapse I was going back to what I love to do, and instead of working for someone else I started a small company in 2014, and was awarded as The Best Small Company in Baltimore by Fox 45 my first year. They paid for a years with of advertising and created my logo for me. I have been keeping myself very busy the past two years just staying to myself and taking on different hobbies, like building a house for my black lab and Akita, my two buddies, and one or the other is always with me. I have to be honest, a woman's body is beautiful, but some of the people on this site are leaving little for the imagination, sorry, but that does nothing for me. I mean no offense, I don't understand what a close-up of a vagina is supposed to do for me, but after I figure out what it is I usually cringe. I have to admit, I actually just turned 50 last February, and I wasn't very excited about it. I don't act or look like a man that is 50...so, that's me as succinct as possible after staking 50 years of life. I really enjoy younger women, no -agers but I'm vibrant and I like to live outside of routine, kind of doing what I want and I find that most women my age just have way too much going on and I'm looking for someone untamed that wants to learn a thing or two. I don't have any , I live alone in a single family home, which doesn't bother me a bit. It took about a year to start feeling better after losing my wife, I haven't dated anyone since 2016 when I got married and if you're up for an adventure, and a good time you won't forget, Im available and I adapt quickly.
